The BCI Team
The Bonobo Conservation Initiative (BCI) is founded on the principle of collaboration and partnership. Our team is a worldwide network of professionals, volunteers, advisors, and partners who share our vision of protecting bonobos and their habitat, and promoting peace and prosperity in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

BCI has headquarters in Washington, DC and Kinshasa, DRC, a provincial office in Mbandaka, DRC and conservation centers at several field sites.
